ANDREA MELLIS is a Canadian/British citizen and has been living in Austria since 1988. She is:
- a free-lance director for the stage working internationally
- Artistic Director of "Passepartout", an ensemble of singers, actors and dancers
- Artistic Director of the Sieggraben Summer Workshop and the Gleisdorf Musical Werkstatt.
- Artistic Director of the Youth Music and Theater Festival "Jugend Bewegt" in Burgenland, Austria
- a free-lance performer with concert, opera, musical and theatre engagements throughout Europe
- an internationally acclaimed singing and acting teacher, currently teaching and giving workshops
in several European cities, as well as in Canada and South Korea
